Go Catfishin’ on the WOWT 6 Outdoor Report

Who doesn’t love to go fishing for catfish this time of year in Nebraska waters? I sure do, especially the flatheads!

So, I’ll be prodding you to step outside and fish for post-spawn, hungry channel, blue or flathead catfish during the cooler parts of the day and offer some universal tips to help improve your catfishing success on my weekly TV/web-based outdoor report Thursday evening!

The Weekly Outdoor Report I do airs on Omaha’s WOWT 6 News LIVE Thursday evening at 6 p.m. CST during the station’s sportscast with either Ross Jernstrom or Greg Ortiz of the WOWT 6 Sports Machine.

Remember, if you are unable to view the live broadcast of the outdoor report, video replays of it can be seen after the initial cast here. The report can also be accessed on Digital Channel 6.2 and Cox Cable Channel 120. Additionally, the station runs The Weekly Outdoor Report on Saturdays later in its hour-long 8 a.m. CST newscast. We thank you in advance for watching whenever, wherever you can!  Think catfish!
