Ready for Carp Week?

Shark Week begins on the Discovery Channel tomorrow, but are you ready for #CarpWeek here in Nebraska? It starts tomorrow as well! I’m pumped up for it!

CARP WEEK

Those of us at NE Game and Parks who thoroughly enjoy fishing for carp will be sharing some of our best kept secrets on how to catch, clean and cook carp.

We also want to encourage you to share some of your own tried-and-true tips with regard to carp and carp fishing on our NE Game and Parks Facebook Page and where possible on our other social networking sites (including here on my blog)! We know carp fishing is catching on with anglers. Just look at the popularity of our summer Carp-O-Rama events!

Now, don’t turn your nose up wary carp. They are found in abundance, are strong fighters on a rod-and-reel, and when prepared properly, make for great eating!
