Pollinator Workshop Sept. 19 in Nebraska City

LINCOLN – The public is invited to a free workshop Sept. 19 in Nebraska City to discuss the importance of pollinators.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and Pheasants Forever will host the workshop at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, 100 Valmont Drive. The event begins with free appetizers at 6 p.m., followed by the presentation from 7-9 p.m.

Topics will include: benefits of pollinators, common Nebraska pollinators, importance of pollinator habitat, and solutions to declining pollinator populations.
