Go Time for Bowhunters on WOWT 6 Outdoors

Quick blog post to let you know that I’ll be offering some important tidbits of information for you – the Nebraska archery deer season hunter – during the “magic window” for deer breeding season movement called “rut” on my outdoor TV segment this week. Photo below by Tanner Podraza.

It’s a neat time of year where the bucks are rubbing trees to polish their antlers, marking their territory and leaving scent cues for other deer.

Whether you enjoy hunting or not, don’t miss my Weekly Outdoor Report which airs LIVE on Omaha’s WOWT 6 News Thursday evening at 6 p.m. CST during the sportscast with Greg Ortiz. Think deer, tune in, see some cool video!

As a reminder, my Weekly Outdoor Report airs LIVE on Omaha’s WOWT 6 News on Thursday at 6 p.m. CST during the sportscast with Greg Ortiz.  If you are unable to view the live broadcast of it, video replays can be seen after the initial cast here. The report can also be accessed on Digital Channel 6.2 and Cox Cable Channel 120. Additionally, WOWT 6 runs The Weekly Outdoor Report on Saturdays later in the station’s hour-long 8 a.m. CST newscast. Thanks for watching!
