Talkin’ Trout on WOWT 6 Outdoors

We’ll definitely be talkin’ trout on my weekly TV outdoor report on Omaha Station and NBC affiliate WOWT/Channel 6.

That’s because the Two Rivers State Recreation Area Trout Lake just west of the metro has been stocked and is open, plus thousands more pan-sized rainbow trout will be stocked in various waters around the state later this week! I’ll be giving you trout stocking information for waters around or near the metro area as well as a few quick, helpful hints on catchin’ these nice, skillet-sized beauties.

I’ll also be encouraging you to take your kids or grand kids out fishing for them! What fun!

The LIVE version of my outdoor report airs on Thursday night at 6 p.m. CST during WOWT’s sportscast with Ross Jernstrom. It can be viewed online in real time here. If you’re unable to see the live broadcast of the report, video replays of it can be seen after the initial cast at this link. The outdoor report can also be accessed on Digital Channel 6.2 and Cox Cable  Channel 120. Additionally, the station runs it on Saturdays later in the station’s hour-long 8 a.m. CST newscast. The WOWT 6 Sports Machine crew and I thank you for watching!
