WOWT 6’s Family Fishing Night!

You and your family are invited to come join us at our annual Game and Parks/WOWT 6 Sports Family Fishing Night at Lake Halleck in Papillion, NE this Thursday night, July 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. Find out how fun fishing is!

Lake Halleck is located just a quarter mile to the east of the intersection of Washington and Lincoln Streets in downtown Papillion. We at Game and Parks will be furnishing the fishing tackle and bait as well as fishing instruction for your hands-on fishing enjoyment!

Family fishing nights provide a wonderful opportunity for you and your family to explore and learn fishing or to sharpen those rusty fishing skills that you may have.

A native of Gretna, NE, a graduate of Gretna High School and Bellevue University, Greg Wagner currently serves as the Communications and Marketing Specialist and Manager for the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission's Service Center in Omaha. On a weekly basis, Wagner can be heard on a number of radio stations, seen on local television in Omaha, and on social media channels, creatively conveying natural resource conservation messages as well as promoting outdoor activities and destinations in Nebraska. Wagner, whose career at Game and Parks began in 1979, walks, talks, lives, breathes and blogs about Nebraska’s outdoors. He grew up in rural Gretna, building forts in the woods, hunting, fishing, collecting leaves, and generally thriving on constant outdoor activity.
